Chapter 20: “Repati Udayam” - Tomorrow’s Dawn

 



 

 

The sun has slowly moved toward the western sky.

Life, too, gently leans toward its evening hours.

Yet, my eyes still wait for tomorrow’s dawn—

For new melodies of life to rise again.

 

The sun sets only to rise brighter the next morning.

One act of life closes…

Only to open another.

 

With this hopeful vision one must walk forward,

Step by step, with positive energy.

 

I am not alone in this world.

Society walks with me.

Society is my friend.

Society is my guide.

Society is my soulmate.

 

That is why, in the second volume of Melodies of Life,

I shall continue this journey—

Holding hands with my well-wishers and friends,

Sharing goodness, spreading goodness,

And marching ahead.

 

When the intention is pure,

God Himself shows the path.

 

Many inspiring souls crossed my life’s path.

From them, I drew strength.

Perhaps, to a few, I too became a source of strength.

Many shaped my thoughts, my journey.

Every place I worked—chiselled me anew.

A stone becomes sculpture only

Through the hands of many craftsmen.

 

To all of them—my heartfelt salutations.

Born like a small, tender ‘mouse’,

I continue to travel humbly,

In simplicity, in gratitude.

 

This is not the end—only a gentle pause.

Soon, my pen will rise again

As Melodies of Life – Volume II begins.

 

I will write with every generation in mind—

Children, youth, elders—

Hurting none,

Serving society,

Nurturing personality,

Reflecting changing times,

Carrying values within every line.

 

In the next volume—

My journey as a journalist,

Stories from radio days,

Experiences with the internet age,

Moments of appreciation in television media,

Memories related to web journalism

Rubbing shoulders with modern technology,

My companionship with Artificial Intelligence,

Cherished friendships,

Transformations in media,

My love for Telugu language and culture,

My role in social platforms,

Travel tales abroad,

Spiritual reflections…

 All these melodies will continue to flow.

 

To the readers of Volume One—

Expect the same warmth,

The same passion,

  During the time when the  “Jai Andhra”  movement ,  was in full swing, I was studying 10th class and writing my final exams. Those of us who wrote the exams that year  1972-73, were called the “Jai Andhra Batch.” Because of that agitation,  studies  of  many students were badly affected  as schools were closed for many weeks . Luckily, I somehow managed to pass the exams .   A few  students, however, lost their lives during the agitation — due to police firing, lathi charges, rallies, hunger strikes, and  by  getting caught in political manipulations. Beginning my life story with the phrase “A mouse is born” might surprise you. I can understand that reaction — it’s not how most stories begin. But life is full of such unexpected events, unfolding without our knowledge or effort. Who can tell why this mouse was born, how long it will live, or what purpose God has destined for it? Its birth is just one more mystery among many — a small event in a tiny, remote village called Adavi Ravulapadu , nestled in the Nandigama mandal of today’s NTR district (formerly Krishna district) in Andhra Pradesh, India . Chapter 2 : Eyes Full of Dreams

In college, I often dreamed of becoming a lecturer like the one who taught us—captivated by the way he wrote on the blackboard with a piece of chalk. As exams approached, our home would turn into a mini tutorial college. We painted one wall of the verandah black, to use as a board, and my classmates and I would study together from morning till night. Those days were full of energy and laughter. My classmates were my students, and the lecturer in me slowly began to awaken. I would teach, and they would listen attentively; I would write, and they would take notes. From the outside, it looked exactly like a classroom. People from the village often stopped by to watch us study, smiling as they left. Our B.Sc. results proved that teamwork really worked.
